We’ve let the cake settle! Black Cat Annual Bake Off!

Now we’ve let the cake settle, we will be crowning four winners this year in the Black Cat offices!

Joe Golby’s rocky road was so delicious that he won the majority vote in London! This sparked a mild debate on if it contended as baking by the team members, as to quote it ‘ only involved melting stuff’. However, he still rose through the judgement and won on both presentation and tasting in London!!

In Manchester, for the second year in a row… Rebecca Ashworth has won best-tasting with a huge spin – Sausage Rolls! These were a massive hit as the spread on the table was heavy on the sweet, well done Beckie.

In a turn of events, we had two winners for the best-looking crown. Ian Barnes made an enormous oreo chocolate cheesecake, and Alex Baldwin made a beautiful pecan which we were told he individually glazed and roasted each nut by hand.
