Our instructions were to comment on matters of significant concern only as our client plans to comprehensively refurbish the buildings in the coming years. Given all of the buildings are of concrete frame construction and date from the 1960’s a principal aspect of our report was to highlight the risk of concrete defects associated with High Alumina Cement, Carbonation and the use of Chlorides.
