Our client was looking to acquire leisure and retail premises that were under development, consisting of a supermarket and drive-through that had been pre-let to Aldi and Starbucks respectively. We provided services including an initial due-diligence review of construction budgets and proposed cashflow forecasts, the programme of works, suitability of the procurement method and proposed technical aspects of the construction contract and warranties.
We attended progress meetings and produced a summary report on all key aspects of the scheme, assessed the required project costs to completion, and reported on any salient issues arising in the period, alongside the completion documentation and certification.
