Through industry-leading expertise and knowledge, Eric’s detailed understanding of fire related Building Regulations, associated codes and Building Surveying were utilised to advise the Design Team, prepare and present the fire strategy for the building to, Building Control and the Fire Authority.

Black Cat was required to engage from project conception to enable Eric to gain full understanding of the Client’s requirements and to provide timely advice on how the requirements could best be met, whilst complying with all relevant fire safety regulations and associated codes.
Involving Fire Consultancy from early in the process, Black Cat was able to support the Client and avoid costly re-design, as is often the case when engaged later. Black Cat remained involved throughout the project to advise on the design at every stage to ensure fire safety was always considered, even when variations were made during the construction phase.
