We were then instructed to design and contract administer the works through to completion in a short time frame over the summer holidays. The design required an understanding of the existing schools design, standard space planning and the relevant building bulletins for good design guidance in schools.
Regular and consistent communication with all parties was key to the successful delivery of this project and we ensured we allowed sufficient resource and had regular meetings with all parties to fully understand the brief and ensure it was successfully translated in the design and onto site. The job was completed to a very challenging time scale and within budget.
