We commissioned a Nuclear Moisture Gauge Survey and undertook a detailed examination of the roof coverings and associated details to identify leaks and areas of trapped moisture.
Based upon the results of the survey it was recommended that one of the roofs was striped and replaced in its entirety and one roof was patch repaired and then overlaid with new insulation and felt.
Black Cat specified, tendered and procured the works on behalf of the centre owners around a live shopping centre environment and we also then updated the centres Planned Maintenance Strategy to take account of the expenditure.
