Hexstone

Cost Consultancy

Following the preparation of an earlier feasibility study at the same site, Black Cat were instructed to carry out a further inspection and update our previous report regarding the construction of a circa 20,000 ft2 extension to the existing unit.

The proposed works were required to meet the current tenant of the property’s business needs, with the additional space created to be rentalised as part of a new lease.  We identified a number of the logistical challenges and associated solutions which would need to be reviewed with the tenant early on in order to reduce disruption to their day-to-day operations, and we were able to conclude that these shouldn’t have an adverse effect on the proposed works.

We were able to advise the client that the works were feasible from a technical perspective and provide them with a cost and potential scope for the proposed works.
