Black Cat was appointed to work with Acre Hall Primary School, to project manage the demolition of an old school building and repurpose the space to provide a new MUGA facility and extended car park.

The MUGA will provide all-year-round facilities for children to participate in sports and physical activity. It will encourage children to engage in a wider variety of sports, responding to the decline in children’s physical and mental health. The pitch will be fully accessible for people with disabilities and wheelchair users.
The additional car parking will help with congestion around the school for drop off/pick up times, and will provide additional accessible car park spaces, as well as cycle storage.
Black Cat acted as Contract Administrator and Principal Designer, managing the planning application process, which included a number of specialist consultants to assess and review the design, from inception through to completion.
Our Design Team produced the topographical and planning drawings, 3D modelling, and construction drawings in CAD and Revit.
We anticipate Acre Hall’s project will be complete in Spring 2023.
