These two very distinctive properties included the Oast House which was built in 2011 of steel framed construction but with the appearance of a traditional Oast House and the Pavilion which is four storey glue laminated timber framed building pre-let to The Ivy. Black Cat were appointed to undertake a Technical Due Diligence survey prior to the client acquiring the freehold interest.

As part of the scope of service we project monitored the public realm works undertaken to form the external events area for the Oast House and the fit-out of The Ivy.
Following a fire to the roof terrace at The Ivy shortly after opening we were engaged immediately by the Client to assist in monitoring the reinstatement works to protect the investment and to work with insurers to ensure correct apportionment of costs.
